Free Tarot Reading

This is the reading to start with if you don't know which reading to start with. It doesn't assume a topic, so it works equally well for a relationship worry, a work decision, or a feeling you can't quite name yet. The three positions build outward from where you stand to what's guiding you forward.

Because the question is open, the cards tend to surface whatever is actually most alive for you right now, even if that isn't what you expected to ask about.

A vague question gets a vague reading back. Instead of 'what does my future hold', try something with a shape to it: 'what do I need to understand about this decision I'm avoiding'. Specificity gives the cards something to answer.

It also helps to ask about yourself rather than someone else. Tarot reflects your part of a situation far more reliably than it reflects another person's private thoughts.

The first card names where you actually stand, stripped of the story you've been telling yourself. The second points at a blind spot — something true but easy to miss when you're inside a situation. The third suggests a direction, not a guarantee.

Read them left to right as cause, complication, and response. If two cards seem to contradict each other, that tension is usually the most honest part of the reading.

Tarot is a structured way of thinking something through, using symbolic prompts instead of a blank page. It's genuinely useful for organising scattered feelings into something you can act on.

It cannot predict events with certainty, read another person's mind, or replace medical, legal, or financial advice. Treat the guidance as a starting point for your own judgement, not a verdict.
